The Art of Ecology
Melody transplanted from the North Carolina coast to the mountains 12 years ago because she was in love with the natural landscape and thriving artistic community. She left UNCA and the pursuit of an art degree when feeling called to massage therapy work. She enjoyed this line of work until having children to parent and made the decision to stay home. At home, she was able to nanny some and help her husband with summer camps. She and her husband have three children ages 7, 5, and 3. Growing up, she often helped with children at church and has continued caring for them at her church here in Waynesville. Homeschooling has been a blessing she had not anticipated, but has found it to be a fulfilling joy!
